Join us for a hands-on one-day intensive Cinematography Workshop brought to you by Film Consortium, Nelson Photo Supplies, and Panasonic Lumix. This course will be live and will include shooting a full scene from start to finish. You’ll get lessons on lighting, framing, stabilization equipment, and other activities you can only do in person!

LEAD INSTRUCTOR: Jodi Cilley
Jodi Cilley is a long-time filmmaker, entrepreneur, and educator. She has been teaching video production since 2004 and has taught video and editing at San Diego City College, UC San Diego Extension Digital Arts Center, Platt College, and the Media Arts Center San Diego. She has produced over a hundred projects including web series, short films, TV specials, documentaries, and commercial projects, and recently produced Film Indiego, a 6-Part TV Series for KPBS.
INSTRUCTOR: Matthew Sutherland
Matthew Sutherland is a Panasonic Lumix Ambassador, a Light and Motion Champion of Light and the owner of Matrimony Films, a cinematic production company based in Southern California. Their specialty is event and corporate film production. Matthew is a graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television and he’s had a successful career both in front and behind the camera for over 18 years. Matthew has been a member of the Panasonic Lumix Ambassador team for the past three years and loves promoting their cinematic camera gear and teaching filmmaking workshops across the USA and the rest of the world.
